Here at Shiptimize, we have some strong beliefs about the importance of human-driven work culture. But, most importantly, we think that culture is not something you say: it is something you do. That’s why we offer a fair compensation package, we allow 100% remote work (while also having an office for those who prefer having a team lunch) and we have the very much talked about unlimited vacations policy.
At the end of the day, it is all about giving people freedom and trust. If you know what you are here for and you deliver that, there is not much more we need to ask from you. For us, that was a natural path to take since the very beginning. But, for most companies, this is still a pretty tick wall to break. And because this is not the only cultural wall that can come down when it comes to work culture, Hello Monday Club was born.
The consulting company is exploring the future of work in order to help companies that are building a forward-looking culture that is rooted in the future, not the past. They help businesses to look at other ways in which they can build an advanced culture based on their specific strategy, vision, and working style.
And, just last week, our Co-founder Jorn Spiertz gave Hello Monday an interview sharing his thoughts and experience with our unlimited vacation policy. Besides explaining how it all started and how it currently works, Jorn answered the infamous question: do people take advantage of it?
